Day 1

On arrival at the Bangalore airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in to the hotel and relax.

Day 02: Bangalore – Srirangapatnam – Mysore (By road – 4 hours drive) 

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll drive to Srirangapatnam, the 18 th century capital of the legendary Tipu Sultan. See the beautiful Summer Palace and Tipu’s Mausoleum as well several of his well-preserved artifacts. Later we continue to drive to Mysore, the city famous for its sandalwood. Arrive and check in to your hotel and relax.

Day 03: Mysore 

In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mysore. Visit the elegant and fabulous Mysore Palace, a fantastic fairy tale setting from the Arabian nights. Built in the Indo-Saracenic style, the palace is a visual delight with its ornate entrance, the well-decorated Maharaja’s Howdah(elephant-seat) made from 24 karat gold, its stunning stained glass Royal Wedding Hall in peacock designs and the magnificent marble public hall with its brightly painted and gilded colonnades.

Later, we hike to the famous Chamundi Hill to see the 12th century Durga Temple, known for its 40m high gopura and a solid gold statue of the Goddess. Also, visit the Nandi Temple dedicated to Lord Siva famous for the magnificent 5 meter Nandi (Siva’s bull) carved from a single piece of black granite.

Day 04: Mysore – Sravanbelagola – Hassan (By road- 5 hours drive) 

In the morning today we’ll drive to Hassan, visiting the ancient town of Sravanbelagola en-route. The place is famous for the huge 17m high Jain statue – the highest monolithic statue in the world. Thereafter we continue our drive to Hassan. Arrive and check in to your hotel and relax.

Day 05: Hassan 

In the morning, enjoy an excursion to nearby Belur and Halebid to visit the 11th century Hindu temples, which’s sculptural detail rivals even that of the sculptures at Khajuraho, Konark. The interiors and exteriors of the temples are full of intricate sculptures of Hindu deities, sages, animals and birds. They depict scenes from the lives of the rulers, music and dance, as well as very sensual activities of the dancing girls.

Day 06: Hassan – Bangalore (By road- 4 hours drive) 

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll drive to Bangalore. Arrive and check in to your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a city sightseeing tour of Bangalore, visiting the Vidhana Soudha, built of granite in the neo-Dravidian style of architecture. Later visit The Fort, an original mud brick structure built in 1537 by Kempegowda; and the Tipu Sultan’s Palace.

Day 07: Bangalore Departure 

In the morning our representative will assist you to transfer to airport to board a flight to board a flight for your onward journey.
