Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
On arrival at New Delhi International airport, on completion with immigration, custom clearance and luggage collection please proceed to the exit gate of arrival hall. Here you will be met by the TPI representative and transferred to your hotel – THE LALIT NEW DELHI.
Day 02 : Delhi Sightseeing – Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. At 9:30 AM, you will be picked up from the hotel for an interesting tour of Old Delhi. Your first stop is Mahatma Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat; the famous Chandni Chowk bazaars, once the shopping arcade of Mughal royalty, area pulse with the energy and color, the hustle and bustle of thronged bazaars and is laced by a maze of narrow lanes which twist and turn between tall, leaning houses full of the sights, sounds and aromas of the Indian sub-continent. Enjoy a Rickshaw ride through the narrow and colorful lanes of old market. Visit marble domes and slender minarets of the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, built by Shah Jahan. Your sightseeing tour of New Delhi this afternoon includes a drive along Rajpath to photograph the Parliament House, President’s Palace (Rashtrapati Bhawan) and India Gate, a memorial to India’s soldiers. Visit the Humayun’s tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun’s first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad, Persian architects chosen by her. Visit the Qutab Minar, the tall and ever attractive monument of Delhi. The minaret is 238 feet high and the highest individual tower in the world. The minar was completed in 1230 A.D and since then the tall structure has been there upright and ever beautiful keeping an eye to Delhi just like a sentry. Qutab Minar is another great masterpiece of Mughal architecture. It has a number of floors or storeys which has beautiful carvings like the one on the tomb of Iltutmish. There are inscriptions all-round the tower and these inscriptions reveal that Iltutmish finished the tower. The structure of the wall is made as such that it widens from top to bottom, just to make the minar stronger.
Day 03 – Delhi to Agra by Surface (approx. 3-4 hrs drive) – After breakfast at the hotel, the group will be driven to Agra. Arrive and check in to your hotel – ITC MUGHAL AGRA. Visit the Agra Fort, (spread over a sprawling 94 acres, this massive red sandstone fort lies parallel to the Yamuna River and is situated 2 kms northwest of the Taj Mahal. The Agra Fort was originally occupied by Sikarwar Rajputs and was later captured by Lodi rulers of Delhi. In 1526, after the Lodis were defeated in the Battle of Panipat, the victor Emperor Babur took over the fort. After losing the fort briefly to the Suri rulers, it was eventually reclaimed by Akbar who made Agra his capital. Akbar carried out extensive renovation of the dilapidated fort using red sandstone, which took over 4,000 workers and eight years to complete. Agra Fort is known for its majestic gates with the most impressive being the Delhi Gate and Lahore Gate. Another majestic gate is the Elephant Gate, which is situated between two red sandstone towers. Despite the magnificence of these gates, currently, only the Amar Singh Gate is open to visitors). At sunset, visit the Taj Mahal (built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his deceased wife Mumtaz, the Taj Mahal is emblematic of the emperor’s deep love for his wife and the grief he experience at her passing. A landmark monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Taj Mahal is one of the most admired Mughal masterpieces in the world and is nothing short of poetry crafted in marble. The architect of the Taj Mahal was Ustad Ahmed Lahauri and the design is representative of Indian, Persian and Islamic styles of architecture. It took 21 years for the Taj Mahal to be constructed (from 1632 to 1652) with over 20,000 laborers working night and day).
Day 04 – Agra to Jhansi by Day Train (Shatabdi Express – 8:30 AM – 11 AM) and Drive to Khajuraho (approx. 4 hrs drive) – After early breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the Agra Cantt railway station to board the train to Jhansi. On arrival at Jhansi railway station, you will be met by TPI representative and drive straight to Khajuraho. Arrive and check in to your hotel – SYNA HERITAGE HOTEL. This evening, enjoy a Sound & Light Show, at the Western Group of Khajuraho temples complex. The show introduces Khajuraho and its heritage by dint of this program. Khajuraho is well known for its magnificent temples, built during 10th to 12th century A.D. Of about 85 temples originally built at Khajuraho, only 25 now survive. The temples, which adorned Kharjuravahaka, later known as Khajuraho – the capital city of Chandelas, are unrivalled for the profusion of ornamentation. Each of the 800 statues in the temples is a masterpiece of sculptural art. The Sound and Light Show mesmerizes the viewer and delineates the life and times of the creative Chandela rulers. It depicts the history, significance & craftsmanship of these unique temples of Khajuraho and the profuse patronage by the Chandela kings to art and culture.
Day 05 – Khajuraho to Panna National Park by Surface (approx. 3-4 hrs drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy an interesting tour of Khajuraho temples, is a group of Hindu temples and Jain temples, they are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temples are famous for their nagara-style architectural symbolism and their erotic sculptures. In afternoon, you will be driven to Panna National Park, was declared as one of the tiger reserves in India in 1994 and is placed under the protection of Project Tiger. By spreading across 542.67 sq. km, this park is being recognized as 22nd Tiger Reserve of India. The park is being located at the most important position where the continuity of the forest belt, which starts from Cape Comorin in the south, is broken and beyond this the great Gangetic plains begin. Day 06 – Panna NP to Bandhavgarh National Park by Surface (approx. 4-5 hrs drive)
Early morning, you will indulge in the Jungle Safari (6 AM to 11 AM) by Jeeps that experience the dense ambience and encounter the wildest ranges of mammals, reptiles, birds, flora, fauna and avifauna. Return to the resort for breakfast. After leisurely breakfast, you will be driven to Bandhavgarh National Park, the most popular national parks in India, declared as a national park in 1968 and its spread across the area of 450 sq. km including the core area of 105 sq. km. The area of Bandhavgarh is being flourished with a large biodiversity, the place which also being famed to grip highest density of tiger population in India. Similarly, the park also beholds the largest breeding population of leopards and various species of deer. Over the years, the park has shown a great number of increases in the count of the tiger species and this is the reason why tiger tours is so famed to attract large amount of tourists as its vicinity. The park has been divided into three major zones names as Tala, Magdi and Bamera. Bandhavgarh National Park consists of mixed vegetation ranging from tall grasslands to thick Sal forest and so is the perfect habitat of variety of animals and birds. Day 08 – Bandhavgarh NP to Kanha National Park by Surface (approx. 4-5 hrs drive)

Return to the resort for breakfast. After leisurely breakfast, you will be driven to Kanha National Park, nestled in the Maikal range of Satpuras in Madhya Pradesh. The national park is being popularized as the Tiger reserve and interestingly is being declared as one of the finest wildlife park. Spreading across two revenue districts the Mandala and the Kalaghat, the national park was declared a reserve forest in 1879 and revalued as a wildlife sanctuary in 1933. Its position was further upgraded to a national park in 1955. The Kanha National Park is spread across the area of 940 sq km in the Maikal chain of hills. By bringing up the buffer and core zone all together, the Kanha Tiger Reserve has the total area of 1945 sq km. The landscapes and the surrounding luxurious meadows along with the wooded strands and the dense maroons of forests offer magnanimous sightseeing experiences for the nature lovers. Making the land more beautiful and adorable, the crystal clear streams amidst the dense jungle cleanses the surroundings and makes the wildlife unrivalled. This vivacious land has been the source of inspiration for Rudyard Kipling, a famous writer for his outstanding creation- “The Jungle Book”. Day 09 – Kanha National Park

Day 10 – Kanha NP to Pench National Park by Surface (approx. 4-5 hrs drive)

Return to the resort for breakfast. After leisurely breakfast, you will be driven to Pench National Park, located in Seoni and Chindwara districts, Madhya Pradesh. The park named after the pristine River Pence which flows through the park and is one of the most popular wildlife reserves in India. The park also has its mention in the famous story of 1894, “The Jungle Book”, penned down by the renowned English Author Rudyard Kipling. Sprawls over a massive area of 758 sq. km, including the core area, the park has a rich wildlife which proffers visitors an opportunity to indulge into one of the finest wildlife experiences. Since its inception in 1965 as a wildlife sanctuary, the park has serving as the cozy nest of numerous wild creatures including the Royal Bengal Tiger, Jackal, Peafowl, Wild dog, Wild boar, Sloth bear, Indian leopard, Fox, Striped hyena, Monkey, Gaur, Barking deer, Four-horned antelope, Indian wolf, and more such enthralling species. Day 11 – Pench National Park

Day 12 – Pench NP to Tadoba National Park by Surface (approx. 5-6 hrs drive)
Early morning, you will indulge in the Jungle Safari (6 AM to 9 AM) by Jeeps that experience the dense ambience and encounter the wildest ranges of mammals, reptiles, birds, flora, fauna and avifauna. Return to the resort for breakfast. After leisurely breakfast, you will be driven to Tadoba National Park, it lies in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra state and is approximately 150 km from Nagpur city. The total area of the tiger reserve is 1,727 Sq.km, which includes the Tadoba National Park, created in the year 1955. The Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary was formed in the year 1986 and was amalgamated with the park in 1995 to establish the present Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. The word ‘Tadoba’ is derived from the name of God “Tadoba” or “Taru,” which is praised by local tribal people of this region and “Andhari” is derived from the name of Andhari river that flows in this area. The Tadoba National Park is divided into three separate forest ranges, i.e. Tadoba north range, Kolsa south range, and Morhurli range, which is sandwiched in between the first two. There are two lakes and one river in the park, which gets filled every monsoon, the ‘Tadoba Lake,’ ‘Kolsa Lake,’ and ‘Tadoba River.’ These lakes and rivers provide vital ingredients need to sustain the park’s life. The Tadoba Tiger Reserve is rich in flora and fauna, apart from this the list of animals noted in this part include, Tigers, Indian leopards, Sloth bears, Gaur, Nilgai, Dhole, Striped Hyena, Small Indian Civet, Jungle Cats, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Chital, Marsh Crocodile, Indian Python, Indian Cobra, Grey-headed Fish Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, Peacock, Jewel Beetles, Wolf Spiders, etc. Arrive and check in to your jungle resort – PUGDUNDEE WAGHOBA ECO LODGE OR SVASARA JUNGLE LODGE.
Day 13 – Tadoba National Park

Day 14 – Tadoba National Park to Nagpur by Surface (approx. 3-4 hrs drive) and fly from Nagpur to Delhi by afternoon / evening flight
Early morning, you will indulge in the Jungle Safari (6 AM to 9 AM) by Jeeps that experience the dense ambience and encounter the wildest ranges of mammals, reptiles, birds, flora, fauna and avifauna. Return to the resort for breakfast. After leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to the Nagpur airport to board the flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi airport, you will be met by the TPI representative and transferred to your hotel – THE TRIDENT GURGAON.
Day 15 – Delhi Departure
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. In time, you will be transferred to the Delhi Intl airport to board the flight to back home. Tour Ends here…

Day 15 – Delhi to Bhopal by Morning Flight
Bhopal to Satpura National Park by Surface (approx. 4-5 hrs drive)
After early breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the Delhi airport to board the flight to Bhopal. On arrival at the Bhopal airport, you will be met and drive straight to Satpura National Park, situated in the lap of Central India is a fine example of elegance and admirable natural beauty. Established in 1981, this park is located in the Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh and is spread over Satpura hills on highlands of Central India. The park adjoins the pristine hill station of Pachmarhi and forms an area of 1427 sq.km. After enclosing Pachmarhi and Bori wildlife sanctuary, the blissful landscape of Satpura National Park speaks of a thousand views. As one of the greatest English poets John Keats had said, “A thing of beauty is a joy forever,” the words are congruous with the awe-inspiring beauty of the park that consists of dense forests, tickling rivulets, ravines and wetlands, mountain terrain and is sumptuous in its flora and fauna. Day 16 – Satpura National Park

Day 17 – Satpura National Park to Bhopal by Surface (approx. 3-4 hrs drive)
Early morning, you will indulge in the Jungle Safari (6 AM to 11 AM) by Jeeps that experience the dense ambience and encounter the wildest ranges of mammals, reptiles, birds, flora, fauna and avifauna. Return to the resort for breakfast. After leisurely breakfast, you will be driven to Bhopal city. It’s one of India’s greenest cities. There are two main lakes, the Upper Lake and the Lower Lake. On the banks of the Upper Lake is Van Vihar National Park, home to tigers, lions and leopards. The State Museum has fossils, paintings and rare Jain sculptures. Taj-ul-Masjid is one of Asia’s largest mosques, with white domes, minarets and a huge courtyard. Arrive and check in to your hotel – JEHAN NUMA PALACE HOTEL.
Day 18 – Bhopal sightseeing – Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. At 9:30 AM, you will be picked up from the hotel for an interesting tour of Bhopal. Visiting the Bhojtal, formerly known as Upper Lake, is a large lake which lies on the western side of the capital city. It is a major source of drinking water for the residents of the city, serving around 40% of the residents with nearly 30 million imperial gallons of water per day. Bada talaab, along with the nearby Chhota Talaab, meaning small lake in Hindi, constitute Bhoj Wetland, which is now a Ramsar site. The Taj-ul-Masajid or Tāj-ul-Masjid, is a mosque. It is the largest mosque in India and one of the largest mosques in Asia. Situated in the Kohefiza suburb of the city, it has large minarets which make it visible from nearly all elevated regions of the town. Bharat Bhavan is an autonomous multi-arts complex and museum in Bhopal, India, established and funded by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The architect of Bharat Bhavan is Charles Correa. Opened in 1982, facing the Upper Lake, Bhopal, it houses multiple art galleries, a graphic printing workshop, a ceramics workshop, an open-air amphitheater, a studio theatre, an auditorium, a museum tribal and folk art, libraries of Indian poetry, classical music as well as folk music. Day 19 – Bhopal to Delhi by flight and Delhi Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the Bhopal airport to board the flight to Bhopal. On arrival at Delhi airport, you will be met and transferred to the airport hotel for wash & change. In time, you will be transferred to the Delhi Intl airport to board the flight to back home. Q. What's the Weather in India like?
India is a vast country with diverse seasonal and geographical variations in climate.
Generally, the best time to visit India for your holidays is during the months of October to April.
The Monsoon season starts in mid-May till August - you may like to know about off-season deals. Wildlife sanctuaries & National Parks of India are closed during the Monsoon period.
